I see the wind
As it stirs the grass
Into gentle waves
As its fingers pass
Through sylph-like strands
Of this emerald sea
I sense the wind
It calls to me
I feel the wind
That stalks between
Ancient trees
Whose branches lean
And nod, bowing
To their lord
Born of air and
Souls that soared
To touch the sky
And be reborn
I yearn to join
But remain, forlorn
For to this earth
My soul is chained
Until the end
When hope is gained
I will rise above
This world of woes
And find the place
Where silence flows.
